Preparation is Key
This is the most critical phase of our process. First, we pressure wash the entire cage with a turbo tip to remove loose paint, oxidation, and mold. Next, we replace all damaged or rusted hardware, like bolts. Finally, we use a wire wheel and palm sander to smooth areas where paint was removed for a flawless finish.
Priming and Painting
First, we apply a high-quality DTM Bonding Primer to guarantee your paint job lasts for over 15 years. Once the primer is dry, we apply two coats of specialized paint designed for aluminum cages and lanais. Choose from our wide selection of bronze and earth-tone colors, or ask us to create a custom color for you. Our quick-drying paint allows us to apply both coats efficiently and prepare the cage for final screening.
Cleaning and Masking
Next, we wipe down the entire cage with wet rags, ensuring it is perfectly clean and ready for priming. We then carefully cover the entire work area, including your pool and deck, to protect them from overspray and keep the non-painted surfaces pristine.
